- A second-generation environmental monitoring probe for the Gigabit Network Card
- The new EMP maintains all the functionality of the previous generation of sensors (temperature, humidity and drycontact monitoring) while adding the ability to be daisy-chained (up to 3 per host), allowing multiple sensor connection to a single host
- Enhances the richness of rack-level environmental data for the top, middle and bottom of the rack, including stronger encryption, configurable password policy and usage of CA and PKI signed certificates
- The new sensors feature a translucent case and integrated LED to positively identify the status of each sensor at a glance while walking the aisles
